Agricultural researchers at IAPRI found out that land is a critical asset in ensuring household food security in rural areas (AIPRI,Working Paper No.124,2017). The paper revealed that in Zambia, households with family ties to local traditional authorities have a higher chance of owning land. We all probably agree with the finding! Help us bridge this backward practice by participating in this exiting new market by leasing out excess farm land to other farmers in need. There is also a growing number of "urban farmers"-the working class who want to do farm business, these too are looking for farm land. Lease out your extra piece of land and earn more money. Let us join hands together and make this a success! First of its kind on the Zambian market!
